How Idaho point reduction works

Qualifying Idaho drivers may receive a reduction of up to three violation points after completing an approved defensive-driving class. The reduction is available once every three years. ITD determines eligibility and applies its rules.

The course does not erase the underlying conviction, bank points for later use, or automatically reverse an existing suspension. Check your record and current ITD instructions before relying on a course for point reduction.
